About Arrow Tap Away
Arrow Tap Away is arrow logic on a hexagonal board with a move counter watching you. Tap a colored tile and it tries to travel along its printed arrow. If the lane is open it leaves. If anything is in the way it bounces straight back to where it started — and you still lose the move.
Why Arrow Tap Away Feels Different From Other Arrow Games
The bounce-back is the whole design. Guessing is possible here, it is just expensive, which forces you to actually trace lanes before committing.
- Hex grid means six travel directions instead of four, so lanes cut diagonally.
- A blocked tap costs a move and changes nothing — the only real failure state.
- Tiles can exit into open outer space or through holes inside the layout.
- Hammer unlocks at Level 6 and destroys one tile you pick.
- TNT arrives at Level 9 for clustered tiles, and Drill at Level 12 cuts a gray platform into an open gap.
How To Play Arrow Tap Away?
Simple to start, but the MOVES counter makes careless tapping a real problem.
- Tap a colored hex to send it along the arrow printed on it.
- Before tapping, trace the full lane — open space and interior holes both count as valid exits.
- If a tile bounces back, find the tile sitting in its lane and clear that one first.
- Watch MOVES at all times and never repeat a tap you already know is blocked.
- Work from exposed arrows that already face open space inward toward the packed middle.

Can You Clear It Within the Moves?
Early boards are forgiving enough that you can tap around and still finish. Once the hexes stack three or four deep, every wasted attempt is a level you will not complete.
The fix is not playing faster, it is looking longer. Pick your tile, follow the lane all the way to its exit, confirm nothing is sitting in it, then tap once.
Three helpers are waiting on the later levels. Save them for the boards that genuinely deserve them.
