About Cosmos Lines

Cosmos Lines is a one-stroke puzzle on a space-themed grid, with a twist: each coloured circle carries a number telling you exactly how many cells its line must cover. Several colours share the board, so every path has to leave room for the others.

Why Cosmos Lines Feels Different From Other Snake Games

The numbers turn this from free-form drawing into something closer to a logic grid. A line that is one cell too long is as wrong as one that is blocked.

  • Each start circle specifies the exact path length required.
  • Multiple colours must all fit on the same grid without overlapping.
  • Exact lengths mean there is usually one correct shape, not many.
  • By Level 15 the boards grow larger with more colours to weave together.
  • Later stages add crossing points with fixed travel directions.

How To Play Cosmos Lines?

Solve the most constrained colour first and the rest of the board follows.

  • Read every numbered circle and note the path length each one needs.
  • Work out which colour has the least freedom and plan that route first.
  • Reserve enough grid space for the remaining lines before committing.
  • Press a start circle and drag through exactly the required cells in one stroke.
  • Use fixed-direction crossings correctly and finish within the displayed move allowance.

Who Will Enjoy Cosmos Lines?

  • Players who like logic grids with exact constraints.
  • Anyone who enjoyed one-stroke puzzles and wants more structure.
  • People who like solving for the most restricted piece first.
  • Fans of Numberlink, Flow Free and similar path puzzles.
  • If exact-fit problems satisfy you, the later multicolour boards are the draw.

Can You Fit Every Line?

The instinct is to start with the easiest colour, which is almost always a mistake. The easy line has many valid shapes and will happily take the cells the hard line needed.

Find the most constrained route, lock it in, then fill around it. The large Level 15 boards are far more tractable once you work in that order.

Read the numbers, plan the tight ones, and fill the grid.
