About Greedy Apple Snake

Greedy Apple Snake is a compact direction maze driven by four arrow buttons. Move the green snake through a block layout and collect the apple — the catch being that your own body is part of the maze, so the route you take becomes the wall you have to avoid.

This is not the endless arcade snake. Each level is a fixed puzzle with one workable route, and there is no reflex component at all.

Can You Reach Every Apple?

The mistake that ends most levels is walking the shortest route to the apple. Short routes tend to cut the grid in half, and half a grid is rarely enough to finish from.

By Level 6 the layouts are tight enough that you have to commit to a sequence before the first button press. Work out where the body will sit at each step, not just where the head goes.
